What was my week like?
What else is going on in my life?
I just got home from a Saturday choir practice at church that lasted about 1 1/2 hours. We are rehearsing for the big Advent Lessons and Carols that will be performed next Friday, December 9, 2022.
We are a small choir, when all are present, we have 10. Another church choir is joining us for the Advent Lessons and Carols service. The combined choirs will make 20.
I sing 2nd soprano.
I am reading several books this week but have not finished any of them because I’m busy with the season’s activities. Hoping and planning to finish some before the end of the year.
Everyone in my family is well except a brother-in-law who is waiting on insurance approval to begin chemo and infusion therapy for leukemia. This is the second time he’s had leukemia. This time it is a more aggressive form.
It’s teatime and I’m ready to relax and read.
Enjoy your weekend!
The Sunday Salon is hosted by Readerbuzz.
This is a slow reading season for me as well, but hoping my time frees up a bit more over the next week or so! Have a great weekend!

It’s hard to find time to read at this time of year!
Have a great week.

It has been many, many years since I sang in a choir. It was a lovely experience, being a part of such beautiful sounds. I was a second soprano.
I’ve been watching and watching for the Chapter-a-Day Readalong, and now I see it in your sidebar. I’m off to see what Nick has planned for us this year. Thank you.

When I sang I was a 2nd alto – I’m more than a little rusty these days but my daughter in law is also an alto and has a beautiful voice. Singing makes the world happy.

Hope your concert goes great and you have an amazing time. Reading does slow down a bit this time of year as family and events take up time – but that’s okay too – I need the balance 🙂
Thanks for the visit

I always wanted to sing in a choir but can’t carry a tune in a bucket!
Hope everything goes well for the brother-in-law with leukemia.

I love how teatime can mean so many things. Time to chat, time for leisure, book time, tatting time, etc… hope the rest of your week went well!
